Otto New Director of Gov Relations at Group Health

Madeline Otto, who has worked at the Department of Health and Human Services and as a health care aide in Congress, is joining Group Health Cooperative as its director of federal government relations.
"Otto will develop Group Health's federal advocacy strategy, with a particular focus on Medicare," according to Group Health. "Otto will represent Group Health in DC, with assistance from Monument Policy Group, to advocate in the interest of Group Health's mission and members. A key part of her role is helping Group Health translate the uncertainty and opportunity with health reform and public programs to inform strategic business decisions inside Group Health."
Otto has worked as a senior advisor in the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Legislation at HHS and as legislative assistant to Sen. Bill Nelson (D-Fla.).
