Cantwell's Former Chief to Commerce Dept.

Sen. Maria Cantwell's chief of staff, Katherine Lister, has left her post to become deputy chief of staff to Commerce Department Secretary John Bryson. Cantwell's office confirmed the move, set to be announced by the Commerce Department.
Lister has been Cantwell's top aide for three years, her second stint with the Washington Democrat after working for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. She previously worked for Rep. Adam Smith, D-Wash.
Jennifer Griffith will take over as chief of staff.
